First Preference EB-1 employment-based immigration is reserved for those persons of extraordinary ability, are an outstanding professor or researcher, or are a multinational executive or manager. Each of these three occupational category has certain requirements that must be met.

EB-1 for Multinational Manager or Executive

Individuals wishing to pursue an EB-1 visa as a Multinational Manager or Executive must have been employed outside the United States in a managerial or executive position for at least one out of the past three years. Your employment must be with the same employer, an affiliate, or a subsidiary of the employer.

To Qualify as a Multinational Manager or Executive

  • Your petitioning employer must be a U.S. employer
  • Your petitioning employer must have been doing business for at least 1 year in the U.S.
